Beach Trip Day 5

Day after the hurrican we spend the day shopping and going to Lamberts for lunch, Nick was so tired he passed out at the table but he love those big roles. Then we went crab hunting with Nana and Pa Pa. They boys had a lot of fun.

Beach Trip Day 4

Today Hurricane Gustav hit and boy was the ocean busy. Look at the boys hair the wind was crazy.

We had fun playing in the room and then going to the little indoor pool we had.. thank you for that. We did go out a little to see if anything was open and that was a negative. We did find somewhere to eat, which was good since we where in a hotel room and didn't have a kitchen.

Beach Trip Day 3 cont.

Well I couldn't leave out the hand made beach chairs the Lellwyn and the boys made. They thought they where too cute. Nick like to jump in the holes. I know that is surprising. I had to put picture of the ocean the day before Hurricane Gustav arriving. Things are good down here not as bad as they thought it was going to be.

Beach Trip Day 3

On the 3rd day we got a Kite the Dalton wanted to get and we had a good time getting that in the air. I guess I should say Lellwyn and Dalton did.. I just watch most of the time. Dalton finally was able to fly it all by himself. Honestly Dalton did a better job keeping it in the air then Lellwyn. LOL

Alabama's 1st Game ROLL TIDE!!!!!

we headed to my Mom's was staying at the beach to eat dinner and what the Alabama game. We headed down to the beach before dinner to take some pictures. After dinner the boys got cozy in the couch with there gummy worms that there Nana got them to watch the Alabama Game.

Family Beach Trip 1st Day

We arrive at Orange Beach, Saturday August 30th around 10 a.m., we left the house about 3:40 a.m. I know that is crazy but Nick sleep for 1/2 of the trip and that was great! We spend the first day getting settle in the hotel and going to walmart to get sand toys and little items that where needed for the week. Then we headed down to the beach the boys had a great time weather was great. Nick wasn't too sure of the ocean but still having a great time.

Nick Playing in the Rain

I decided to let Nick play in the rain while I was cleaning out the van. Oh my! He had a great time. I remember how much fun I had when I was little playing in the rain. Now being a Stay at Home Mom I can take the time and let them do stuff like this.. this was a great day. Dalton was in K-4 class he said that he wanted to play in the rain next time.. so more to come in the future.

Sunday School Singing This Little Light Of Mine

The 2 and 3's Sunday school class as well the 4's and 5's class sang This Little Light of Mine in Big Church Sunday 24th. The did all some. I believe Dalton started singing an extra round. Which was way too cute.. I was very proud of the kids.

Trip To Visionland

Me and the boys went to vision land on the last Friday they where opened.. what a great day off.. we had a blast...... Can't wait for next year... We will have to hook up with other stay at home moms and take tips together..

Turned in my Notice

I'm so excited that I finally am able to stay home with my boys. It has been a long road but so worth it. I can't wait to see what the future holds me and my family. My last day at the Blue Cross is August 20th.

Turbo Kick

I finally got a call from Cheer Gym and I will be teach classes on

Monday and Wednesday. I have more info than that.. more to come

I hope everyone will come and out and support me and get a

good workout. I also have talk to the Bessemer YMCA and I should

be a sub until I can get a class on my own. So I'm really excited and

nervous at the same time.

Dalton and Evan's Swim lessons @ YMCA

Monday July 28th Dalton and Evan started Swim Lessons. It started out a little slow with two kids not wanting to even get in the water. What was Evan and Dalton doing hanging out at the edge of the water having fun. Hopefully today will go better. Can I tell you that is was hot in the inside Pool. Evan is a little fish.. man did he just put his head in the water and go to town.

A Night at Sips N Strokes

Dalton's New Hair Cut

Dalton got a new hair cut yesterday. He was so excited he told Bertha (she cuts our hair) that he wanted is hair cut like is cousin Reed. So this is Dalton's version of cousin Reed's hair cut.. He is become such a big boy.. He is almost 5

This Loss of My Paw Paw

I received a call late Sunday Night on July 6th. That my Paw Paw had a spell and was being flown into Birmingham. Shortly after that I received another call that my Paw Paw didn't make it that he had a massive hear attack. Paw Paw will be missed. I want to thank everyone for the prayers, email and call it really meant alot to me and my family.

Well we had a great time at my Dad's House for the 4th. My dad being silly is the best! You can't miss the great picture of Nick with his tongue sticking out just like his dad! The boys loved the goggles..
